I’ve seen a lot of candidates fail interviews because they weren’t getting specific enough with their answers. The interviewer wants to see that you know the details of what you worked on in the past. Don’t be afraid to dive into the weeds when you are talking about past projects.

Trying to answer a question when you don’t know the answer. Be honest and be yourself. Not everyone knows everything.

Candidates that have stood out to me are ones that have adapted very quickly on the spot to feedback during the interview, and showed an ability to learn quickly. When I’m interviewing a candidate, I’m thinking “would I want to work with this person on my team.” This is way more important to me than whether or not the actual solution is correct.
